Additionally, I am concerned about the lack of transparency regarding the destination of these funds. It is unclear how the Virginia Museum of Contemporary Art will use this grant, and whether it will be used for operational expenses or for a specific project. As a taxpayer, I believe it is important to ensure that our funds are being used in a responsible and transparent manner, and I urge the city council to provide more information about the source and destination of these funds before approving this ordinance.
